Foodventure Custom WordPress Theme

Custom classic WordPress theme developed from scratch for my food and travel blog. The theme features custom post types and fields, article comments, recipe cards, search functionality, and pagination. Additionally, I developed a custom plugin to add personalized widgets to a custom sidebar, and another plugin that aggregates travel statistics, looping through each blog post to pin the post link, thumbnail, and excerpt to an interactive map.

Custom WordPress theme designed with figma for my food and travel blog. The theme features custom post types and fields, comments, and pagination. The design file features desktop, tablet, and mobile wirefames as well as high fidelity designs. I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the assets and Adobe Lightroom to enhance the images.

Customized a premium JQuery template for a client's landing page. The client wanted a simple, elegant, and responsive landing page that would showcase their products and services. I customized the template to fit their brand values, wrote the website copy, did their onpage SEO, indexed them on Google and Bing, and added a PHP script to send them inquiries from the website's contact form.

Key features include user authentication using JSON Web Tokens, intuitive task tracking, weather information for the user's location, time and date display, and a guest login option using the Local Storage API.
